چکیده

Let I = [0, N − 1] denote the set of indices. We define the set of states S to contain all maps of type I → R for fixed positive N ∈ N (representing the number of agents). For each s ∈ S, i ∈ I, s(i) represents the value held by the agent with ID i. We denote the arbitrarily fixed start state s0. We introduce the function g whose domain MR is the set of non-empty finite multisets of real numbers and whose range is the reals. Given such a multiset V ∈ MR, g(V ) = 1 |V | ∑ v∈V v. In other words, g computes the average of a non-empty finite multiset of reals. The function map : (I → R) × P(I) → MR is defined as in the accompanying PVS work’s set map [1] recursively:

Consensus Seeking Using Multi-Hop Relay Protocol

We consider the problem of average consensus seeking in networked multi-agent systems. Based on local information and a simple distributed algorithm, states of all agents automatically converge to the average value of the initial conditions, where the convergence speed is determined by the algebraic connectivity of the underlying communication network. In order to achieve an average consensus q...

Fixed-time consensus algorithm for multi-agent systems with integrator dynamics

The paper addresses the problem of exact average-consensus reaching in a prescribed time. The communication topology is assumed to be defined by a weighted undirected graph and the agents are represented by integrators. A nonlinear control protocol, which ensures a finite-time convergence, is proposed. With the designed protocol, any prescribed convergence time can be guaranteed regardless of t...

Event-based broadcasting for multi-agent average consensus

A novel control strategy for multi-agent coordination with event-based broadcasting is presented. In particular, each agent decides itself when to transmit its current state to its neighbors and the local control laws are based on these sampled state measurements. Three scenarios are analyzed: Networks of singleintegrator agents with and without communication delays, and networks of double-inte...

Closed-form solution for optimal convergence speed of multi-agent systems with discrete-time double-integrator dynamics for fixed weight ratios

This paper considers the convergence speed of multi-agent systems with discrete-time double-integrator dynamics. The communication topology is assumed to be fixed and undirected. First the speed of convergence of the associated average consensus protocol is analyzed, and the problem of maximizing the convergence speed over the free parameters in the consensus protocol is considered under the as...

Saturation-tolerant average consensus with controllable rates of convergence

This paper considers the static average consensus problem for a multi-agent system and proposes a distributed algorithm that enables individual agents to set their own rate of convergence. The algorithm has a two-time scale structure and is constructed using a singular perturbation approach. A fast information processing state uses a Laplacian consensus strategy to calculate the agreement value...

Convergence and No-Regret in Multiagent Learning

Learning in a multiagent system is a challenging problem due to two key factors. First, if other agents are simultaneously learning then the environment is no longer stationary, thus undermining convergence guarantees. Second, learning is often susceptible to deception, where the other agents may be able to exploit a learner’s particular dynamics. In the worst case, this could result in poorer ...
